Photographs from the Grand Procession on New Year’s Eve in downtown Boston.  I have worked with the Puppeteers’ Cooperative and Back Alley Puppet Theater every year on this event since 1995.  For several years, I co-taught community puppet workshops with Sara Peattie, and have worked the parade every year, performing a variety of functions: building puppets, mentoring parade captains, developing choreography, working with community groups and taking the parade photos you see below.
